TERMS
BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
Places are confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received.
Prices, payment arrangements and what is included within an experience will be shown at the time of booking. Where an event is booked through a third-party booking platform, that provider’s terms may also apply.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied when booking is accurate and for providing any information reasonably requested in connection with your participation.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Bookings are refundable where cancellation is made more than 14 days before the scheduled experience.
Cancellations made 14 days or less before the experience are non-refundable.
Where possible, and at the discretion of Soul Shine Rituals, a booking may be transferred to another person or moved to another suitable event.
Any deposit specifically identified as non-refundable at the time of booking remains non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law.
IF SOUL SHINE RITUALS CANCELS OR CHANGES AN EVENT
Occasionally an event, practitioner, venue, programme or other arrangement may need to change because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where Soul Shine Rituals cancels an event and a suitable alternative cannot be offered, payments made directly to Soul Shine Rituals for that event will normally be refunded.
Soul Shine Rituals is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs incurred in connection with an event, including where an event is cancelled, postponed, relocated or otherwise changed. We recommend making appropriate travel arrangements and considering suitable travel insurance.
PARTICIPATION & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Soul Shine Rituals experiences are invitations to participate, explore and engage with the practices being offered.
Participation is voluntary. You remain responsible for your own choices, boundaries and wellbeing throughout an experience. You are encouraged to listen to your body, ask questions and decide whether an activity feels appropriate for you.
You may pause, step back or withdraw from an activity at any time.
Participants must follow the safety guidance and reasonable instructions provided by the facilitator or event team.
No particular physical, emotional, therapeutic, personal or spiritual outcome is promised or guaranteed.
FIREWALKING, GLASSWALKING, ARROW BREAKING & REBAR BENDING
Firewalking, glasswalking, arrow breaking and rebar bending are experiential practices involving physical activity and inherent risks.
Before participating, all participants must complete and sign the relevant participant waiver and attend the safety briefing provided by the facilitator.
Participation is always a personal choice. You are encouraged to respect your own boundaries and decide whether or not to take part in each activity.
For everyone’s safety, Soul Shine Rituals may decline or stop participation where a waiver has not been completed, safety guidance is not followed, relevant information has not been disclosed, or the facilitator reasonably considers that participation would be unsafe.
The participant waiver records your understanding and acceptance of the inherent risks associated with these activities. It does not exclude any rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
BREATHWORK
Breathwork can create significant physical, physiological and emotional responses and may not be appropriate for everyone.
Participants may be required to complete a health and safety declaration or screening process before taking part.
Contraindications may include pregnancy; high blood pressure; cardiovascular or heart conditions; epilepsy or a history of seizures; detached retina or aneurysms; severe asthma or diabetes; recent surgery, significant injury or fractures; severe PTSD; bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or psychosis; recent psychiatric hospitalisation, emotional crisis or spiritual emergency; certain medications affecting brain chemistry; and other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about relevant health conditions, medications or other circumstances when reasonably requested.
If a contraindication applies to you, or you are uncertain whether breathwork is appropriate for you, please discuss this with Soul Shine Rituals before participating and, where appropriate, seek advice from a suitably qualified healthcare professional.
Soul Shine Rituals may decline or stop participation where there is a reasonable concern for your safety or wellbeing.
HEALTH & WELLBEING
Our work can be physical, emotional and deeply experiential. You are responsible for considering whether an experience is right for you and for letting Soul Shine Rituals know about any health, accessibility or other considerations that may be relevant to your safe participation.
If you have concerns because of a medical condition, pregnancy, injury, medication or another health consideration, please seek appropriate professional advice before participating.
Information shared with us for health or safety purposes will be treated with care and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
ALCOHOL & SUBSTANCES
We ask everyone to arrive present, grounded and able to participate safely.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, psychedelics or other intoxicating substances will be refused participation.
This is especially important for firewalking, glasswalking, arrow breaking, rebar bending, breathwork and other physical or experiential practices.
Where participation is refused on these grounds, the booking will be non-refundable.
CEREMONIAL, SHAMANIC & SPIRITUAL PRACTICE
Soul Shine Rituals creates spaces for ceremony, connection, exploration and personal transformation. Our work may draw upon spiritual and shamanic practice, breathwork, ritual, fire and other experiential traditions.
We honour that every person arrives with their own story, beliefs and relationship with spirituality. You are not required to hold any particular spiritual belief to participate.
Ceremony can be powerful, but each person's experience is their own. No particular physical, emotional, therapeutic, personal or spiritual outcome can be promised or guaranteed.
Our work is complementary in nature. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical or mental-health conditions and does not replace appropriately qualified medical, psychological or other professional care.
RESPECT, CONFIDENTIALITY & THE CIRCLE
The spaces we create are rooted in presence, honesty, personal responsibility and respect for one another.
Everyone attending is asked to honour the dignity, privacy, boundaries and experience of the people sharing the space.
What another person chooses to share within the circle belongs to them. Personal stories, experiences or information shared by another participant should not be taken outside the space without their permission.
Soul Shine Rituals may ask someone to step away from or leave an experience where their behaviour compromises safety, repeatedly crosses another person's boundaries or significantly disrupts the space being held for the group.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO
We sometimes capture photographs or video from our gatherings to share the spirit of Soul Shine Rituals and the experiences we create.
Where identifiable photographs or recordings are intended for promotional or marketing purposes, appropriate permission will be sought.
You are always welcome to tell us that you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Please take care of your personal belongings while attending an experience.
Soul Shine Rituals cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
WORKING WITH OTHER PRACTITIONERS & VENUES
Soul Shine Rituals sometimes works alongside other practitioners, teachers, venues and organisations whose work complements the experience being offered.
Where another practitioner or organisation provides a separate service, they remain responsible for their own work and may operate under their own terms and professional responsibilities.
Soul Shine Rituals is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third parties except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
OUR WORDS, IMAGES & WORK
The words, photographs, practices and materials shared through Soul Shine Rituals form part of the work we have created and the way we share it with the world.
Unless otherwise stated, the Soul Shine Rituals name, branding, written materials, photographs, course materials and original website content should not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without permission.
LIABILITY
We take our responsibility for creating and facilitating experiences seriously, while recognising that many of the practices we offer involve personal choice and, in some cases, inherent physical or emotional risks.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to applicable law, Soul Shine Rituals will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when a booking was made or losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
PRIVACY
Your privacy matters to us. Personal information is collected, stored and used in accordance with the Soul Shine Rituals Privacy Policy.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
As Soul Shine Rituals grows and our work evolves, these Terms & Conditions may occasionally need to evolve with it.
The latest version will always be available on our website, together with the date it was last updated.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
